Karen Freels, Goodlettsville, mother of Zachary, age 10
My kids have only known one dentist—Dr. Taylor. We’ve had great experiences with everyone at his office. They go out of their way to accommodate apprehensive parents, too. They have let me accompany my son, Zachary, for a checkup even though it’s not their policy. The staff at Drs. Taylor and Tabor were so caring and reassuring that it was easy for me to relax. The experience is fun, with great games, videos and books. My kids can’t wait for their dentist appointments.

The first time I went to see Dr. Taylor, I was a little scared but everyone was nice and they helped me relax. Now I look forward to going to the dentist. I love the games, especially the jet games. I just got braces from Dr. Taylor. He was really gentle as he put the braces on. He always lets me know ahead of time if something might hurt or tickle.

I’ve never had any trouble getting my two boys to go to the dentist. In fact, they can’t wait to get there so they can play all the video games. After their appointments are over, it’s hard to get them to leave. Every staff member is kind, gentle and professional. I wish I could have gone to a dentist like Dr. Taylor when I was a kid!
Matthew Laughter, age 10
The video games are my favorite. I also like watching movies from my chair while I get my checkups. The screens are in the ceiling!
Leann Steinhauer, Hendersonville, mother of three
Everything about Dr. Taylor’s practice is designed with kids in mind—even the waiting room, which has a play area and video game room for their use while they wait. The staff is very friendly and great with kids. Both of my daughters got their braces from Dr. Taylor and we’re all very happy with the results. My youngest, Matt, has Down’s Syndrome and was very nervous about visiting the dentist. I like how the staff is willing to work with you to do whatever it takes to make the experience a positive one for the child. They let me accompany Matt during his first treatments and Matt got to go in with his friend, another boy who has Down’s Syndrome. Dr. Taylor never pushes Matt to do more than he wants to do, even if it means a procedure takes longer. When Matt had to have a baby tooth extracted, they gave him a mild sedative to help him relax for the procedure.
Matt Steinhauer, age 10
I like going to Dr. Taylor. I like to go with my friend, Isaac, to show him if I can do it, he can do it. I really like the games and toys.
Kerra Steinhauer, age 18
I love walking into Dr. Taylor’s office because everyone knows who you are and they’re always excited to see you. I like knowing that they’ll tell me exactly what I need to do to take care of my teeth. I’m 18 now and should probably find another dentist, but I like everyone there so much that I’ll keep going until they tell me to stop!
Colleen Davenport, Goodlettsville, mother of Laura Ann, age 9
My daughter, Laura Ann, has Down’s Syndrome. She had a bad experience at another dentist and was extremely scared to go back. She was very anxious when I brought her to Dr. Taylor’s office to have some teeth pulled. Dr. Taylor and his staff were so patient and gentle with Laura Ann. They wanted to allow her " Fun Visits" first, where she would come in to watch movies, talk with the staff and get comfortable with everyone. After a few " Fun Visits", Laura Ann had absolutely no problem with returning for her procedure, which they were able to do in just 10 minutes. They treated Laura Ann so well, it was as if she was their only patient. WE found Laura Ann will need braces, and I am so glad Dr. Taylor will be able to take care of that for her, also. She loves Dr. Taylor and his staff!!!
